Bring a few personal extras—we’ll handle the fishing essentials.

With 13 years of experience as a professional fishing guide and tens of thousands of hours on the water, Captain Conlon Brashear brings hard-earned local knowledge to every trip. Lake Charles is home, and the waters of Calcasieu Lake and Sabine Lake are where he’s built his career—learning the marshes, reading the conditions, and following the bite. He holds a US Coast Guard-approved captain’s license and puts that experience to work for your crew, whether you’re chasing your first redfish or a seasoned angler looking for your next big trout.
You’ll fish aboard a 25-foot Haynie center console with plenty of storage for your gear and personal belongings, keeping the deck clear and your essentials close at hand. It’s a comfortable setup for clients to settle in and enjoy a day on the water, whether you’re casting in the marsh or heading to the next fishing spot. We bring the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, bottled water, ice, and catch cleaning. You bring your crew.
Planning a longer getaway? On-the-water lodging can be arranged when booked far enough in advance, subject to availability. Ask Conlon about your dates.
